Pupils, in their own interest, are expected to attend school in neat and smart turnout in full school uniform with clean nails, well-combed hair and clean shoes.
Perfect silence during the morning assembly and at all public functions shall be maintained. The classes shall be in the places assigned to them for morning assembly as soon as the attendance is taken.
Pupils shall greet one another and their teachers with the traditional "Namaste", and their behaviour towards elders shall be marked by respect and obedience.
On a teacher's entering the class-room, the pupils shall rise and remain standing till they are advised to sit or till the teacher takes a seat. At the end of the class, when the teacher leaves, the pupils shall rise again, pay gratitude and resume their seats quickly. The classes will commence and end with a brief silent prayer.
The pupils are expected to co-operate in keeping the premises of the school neat and tidy and therefore must refrain from scribbling on the walls, the desks and scattering bits of paper. Any objectionable practice like damaging the furniture, dirtying the floor or spitting in corners will be viewed very seriously.
Pupils moving from one classroom to another shall do so in order, keeping to the left always and shall observe perfect silence on their way.
During lessons or while engaged in other school work no pupil shall enter or leave the class without permission
Any pupil found loitering in the school premises shall be seriously dealt with. During working time, a listless or easy-going attitude and slovenly manner must be avoided.
During off-hours, whether before or after school hours, during the short break or during the long recess, pupil’s behaviour will be subject to examination and correction.
Physical education is compulsory for all pupils upto class XII. Pupils having less than 80% of attendance to PE classes, may not be considered for promotion.
Every pupil is required to have an attendance of not less than 85 % of the working days in a school year, to be eligible for appearing in term end examination.
The class leaders and deputy leaders shall ever be ready to render smiling service with obedience at every school function, in and outside the premises.
The School Captain, the Vice-Captain, the School Prefect, the House Captains and the House Vice-Captains will constitute the School Prefect Council that will help and advise the authorities on matters of discipline and administration.
A pupil may avail leave only with prior permission except in unforeseen cases. In such an eventuality, they are to ensure that the leave application reaches the office or the class teacher on the first day of absence.
All leave applications exceeding two days are to be addressed to the Principal by the pupil's parent / guardian, while applications for a short duration of two days are to be addressed to the class teacher.
Any pupil availing sick leave shall be required to produce a medical certificate and a copy of the prescription.
Absence without a leave letter and late coming shall be considered as a punishable offence. Habitual late comers shall not be allowed to attend school. Any instance of truancy will be severely dealt with. Students will report to school only between 8.25-8.40a.m.School authorities are not responsible for students who reach before the specified time.
Attendance is compulsory on the last working day before any vacation and also on the re-opening day. In case any student absents herself, a heavy penalty will be collected.
Pupils requiring leave during any part of the day, whatever be the reason, will have to obtain the Principal's permission in person
Any student caught using unfair means during examination is liable to be summarily removed from the rolls and a transfer certificate issued.
The parents are requested not to contact the teachers directly relating to their children but only through the Principal.
The parents are always welcome during visiting hours Mon - Fri - (3.30 to 4.00 p.m.), Sat - (3.00 to 4.00 p.m.) to discuss with the Principal the progress, behaviour and other problems of their children.
Parents can meet the teachers according to the PTA schedule mentioned in the calendar.
No student is permitted to bring any money to school unless a written note is sent by the teacher. Whenever money is sent, the parent should insist on an acknowledgment of the same from the teacher.
No pupil of the school shall be a member of any external organization or take part in activities not connected with the school, without obtaining the permission of the Principal.
No student or group of students or members of students' association / clubs are permitted to collect any funds in cash or cheque from any internal or external source. The parents are advised to warn their children against any collection. Any violation of this rule will be strictly dealt with.
With regard to conduct, pupils of the school shall always bear in mind the good name of the institution.
Parents are advised not to send their children for private tuition in any subject to coaching centres / teachers. The parents can seek the help of the Principal to enroll their child in the special classes being conducted in the school itself.
Students are not permitted to bring cell phones or any other electronic items to school as per our school rules. Any violation in this regard will be strictly dealt with.
Students are not permitted to bring non-vegetarian food as part of their snacks/lunch.
Students will not be issued outpasses for lunch. The watchman has been strictly instructed not to collect the lunch bags or any other material from parents / deputees for security reasons.
The school calendar cum diary should be carried by the student everyday to school.
Parents are requested to inform personally the Principal / Headmistress and the Class Teacher about any specific illness (like heart problem, juvenile diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, seizures etc.) the student is suffering from. The necessary medical report and the precautions to be taken should also be submitted to the school authorities to enable them to act appropriately. The same should be recorded in the student's diary.
Parents can meet the teachers on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month between 3.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. for classes VI to XII and between 2.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. for classes I to V.
Parents are requested not to park their vehicles on any of the roads or by lanes near the school after they drop their children in school.
Application for transfer certificate must be handed over at the office by the parent in person. The application should not be sent through their representatives or the student and the application for T.C. should be signed by both the parents.
The student should be in school uniform in the photographs that is to be attested by the school. Other photographs will not be attested.
