An erudite scholar, Mrs. Padma, Principal D.A.V. Girls Senior Secondary School has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Education and a Masters in English. Quite seamlessly, she has taken over the leadership role as the Principal of the school since July 2018, motivating and inspiring teachers and students to meet established goals.
An M.Phil in Psychology makes her a natural Psychologist and it’s not surprising that she is skilled in identifying problems and brainstorming potential solutions in the course of her day to day routine as the Head of the institution. Also, her diplomacy as a leader is outstanding.
Setting goals for students and ensuring that they meet their objectives, come most naturally to her. She has the acumen to implement value added improvements to positively shape the scholastic success of her pupils, by carefully monitoring their performances.
Mrs. Padma’s stint in various capacities at D.A.V., first as a Maths & Science teacher and then as the Headmistress and the Principal in D.A.V. Matric Mogappair has enriched her to understand the pulse of the children under her care and wield positive influence over their academic, social, emotional and vocational development. She strongly believes in clarity in communication with parents and the staff under her and keeping with changing times embraces innovation in teaching methodology.
Mrs. Padma’s aim is to layout optimistic visions for the future of the school and students.
